Dave Hitz Has Reproduced
Congratulations to Dave and his lovely wife (who I have never met) on the birth of their first – Mira. This is all that I know at this time, so I cannot answer questions such as – did Dave conceive the old fashioned way or did was there some super-genius "lab experimentation" type science going on in the basement? Is Mira really code for something else? Is her middle name 011001010? Will her birth require a new file system branch on the Hitz family tree?
How would you like to be in her second grade class at science fair time? It would be like having to play in the field day waffle ball tournament with David Ortiz's kid or a little kickball with young Master Beckham on the other team. I can see it now – little Joey McPutz tied a string between two cans and you can hear him talk through them, while Mira unveils the cold-fusion reactor (using only milk cartons and grass clippings) which she developed at recess that now powers half of Palo Alto.
I hope Dave can code himself some sleep.

Conceived by snapshot,
raised to a consistency point,
with hopes to avoid a coredump.
Will there be multi-volumes?
