Virtualization Games

Now that the Olympics have concluded its time to have some fun with the amazing amount of news that is about to break in the virtualization market. Over the next 3 weeks there is going to be enough news to make our heads spin. I'm fortunate enough to have been pre-briefed by many of the companies that will be part of a the mass press release swarm, but I guarentee there will be some curve balls thrown in the mix.

I'll first be attending "The World's Largest Virtualization Showcase" and see how on target Microsoft will be as they fire a shot across VMware's bow. Then the following week I'm off to VMworld where "Virtually anything is possible".

While I'm excited to watch the big players in action, I'm even more interested to watch how the partner community reacts. I suspect there will be some great news coming from the partners as they all strive towards making virtualization a reality.
