As this occurs, there's lots of wheeling and dealing going on. Decru, Ingrian, PointSec, and SafeBoot have all been acquired by large companies over the past year. Does this mean a run on encryption companies? Not exactly, some big guys are walking away and for good reason. See my C/Net blog for more details.
